We had great fun on Saturday night, a group of 12 guests came with a bride to be... The girls arrived at 6.30pm, had a glass of Prosecco and I commenced the demo. There was a lot of banter and chat throughout the evening with loads of learning, tips and tricks. The girls retired to the dinning room at 8.30pm where they were served the three course meal.
Here's a pic of the table, white table linen for the bride to be...
The hens chose a very nice menu, a mix of traditional food with a twist on a classic for starter:
Wilted Spinach Filo Parcels with Two Cheeses, Spicy Beetroot Cream & Salad
Traditional Herb Crusted Chicken Breast with Red Wine Reduction
Roast Potatoes and Carrots and Panfried Broccoli
Blackberry and French Cream Tart
Delicious Rich Chocolate Cake
It wasn't your typical hen party, but it was certainly great fun. There was an air of excitement in the house with lots of bubbles and delicious food. What a great way to celebrate with your friends before getting hitched. Needless to say, the girls carried on the party with cocktails in a bar close by!
